"This is a very Mexican restaurant. They don't have an English menu and the menu had no descriptions (I can read a little bit of Spanish) it made for very difficult and uncomfortable ordering experience as our waiter didn't speak much English either. We aren't exactly novices when it comes to Mexican food or restaurants but this place was super difficult for us, so I am rating the service low because of this. We did finally manage to figure out what to order and really enjoyed our food. I do recommend this place because the food is delicious, and cheap."

"Great Mexican food. I visited this place 3 times during my 3 weeks trip at cancun. I tried Quesadilas, Sope, Burritos, juice and more. Everything was great. The prices are very affordable. This place is known for cuisine from Oaxaca province of Mexico. Ask for dishes with oaxaca cheese. The service is good and this place is usually busy. Very close to parc de las palapas. Definitely try it."

"Excellent Mexican restaurant with authentic food. We ordered some Nopal Quesadillas. They also have a large menu with other dishes. They offer many combinations of ingredients, so most people will feel satisfied with the options. There is plenty of seating available."

"Great food at good prices. We’re a family of 6 and we all ate until we were stuffed for under $40 US dollars. Amazing. I’m so glad we took the bus down this way. I highly recommend this place."

"The final spot for a tradition in Cancún with the slogan "The Secret Is in the Cheese." They were located at the corner across from the church but they moved here some years ago and they have kept the tradition of filled in empanadas (deep fried quesadillas). You select your filled-in ingredient and they add cheese which will be melt. Really affordable and a nice place. Years of tradition in this restaurant. My favorite options are "boiled potatoes with cheese" or "plain cheese," no need of meat for me to enjoy this delicious dish. They also have many stew options which my friends love. Give it a try and you will be engaged with it. ;)"
